
Join the Limerick Elementary School community on Saturday May 14 (with a rain date of May 21) from 11am to 2pm in celebration of Outdoor Classroom Day, a global movement to make time outdoors part of every child’s day.
Hosted by the Home & School League in the Outdoor Classroom of LES, this event will include super fun outdoor games and interactive learning experiences for the entire family:
- Rock decoration / marker painting.
- Scavenger hunt.
- Texture and pattern exploration in nature.
- Planting and gardening instruction.
- Amateur archaeology (digging for dinosaur bones!).
- Insect life cycle stage exploration.
- Pathway decoration with sidewalk chalk.
- Fish Spotting!
The event will start at 11:00 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets are priced at $5 per person (over the age of 2). All proceeds will directly benefit the ongoing maintenance and improvement of Limerick Elementary School’s Outdoor Classroom. Please note that capacity will be limited.
If you choose to pay via PayPal, please submit payment using the Friends & Family option to @LimerickHSL (limerickelementaryHSL@gmail.com). Include a note of “OCDC”. If paying via check or cash, please send it in to school with your student addressed to “Marianne Quinty c/o Anthony Bubel (Outdoor Classroom Day)”.
Once payment is received and confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email.
